The City Clerk's Office is located in West Peoria City Hall at 2506 W. Rohmann Ave., next to Ace Hardware. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 11am - 2pm. Please note that office hours are subject to change.
The City Clerk's Office performs a variety of functions vital to City Government:
Attends all West Peoria Committee and Council Meetings
Transcribes all minutes and assists with all agendas
Conducts voter registration and carries out local City elections as described by Statute
Keeper of the City seal and certifies and attests that official signatures are on municipal documents
Keeper of all City records and reports
Gives notice of all Special Meetings
Publishes all Ordinances
Handles Freedom of Information (FOIA) inquiries. For more information please follow the link.
735 ILCS 5/15-15-3(b) With respect to residetial real estate, a copy of the notice of foreclosure described (a) of Section 15-1503 shall be sent by first class mail, postage prepaid, to the municipality within the boundary of which the mortgaged real estate is located, or the county within the boundary of which the mortgaged real estate is located if the mortgaged real estate is in a unincorporated territory.

A three (3) member board established and appointed by the local Liquor Commissioner (Mayor). Hears cases regarding liquor infractions and denials, revocations and nonrenewal of license and makes recommendations to the local Liquor Commissioner for final action.
